“Whether you know it or not there is pressure like streamers to follow every trend, to save viewers, to stream longer than the person next to them or the person with whom they share the same audience. It’s just a competitive industry,” he said. “I it’s just at a point in my life where it doesn’t feel creative to meet it anymore.”

In a world where more and more big-name streamers are moving from Twitch to YouTube, the announcement is yet another content creator to distance himself from the Amazon-owned platform.
