A Nintendo Direct presentation focusing on Zelda releases will reportedly come in September.
According to GamesBeat managing editor Mike Minotti and Giant Bomb writer Jeff Grubb, who spoke on a podcast this week.
“To be clear guys, the one thing we’re pretty sure is being announced at this Direct is the Wind Waker and Twilight Princess ports for Switch,” Minotti said.

Grubb added: “If they’re going to have Zelda stuff there, it’s not going to be a Direct Partner, and that’s what we’ve heard. Rumors have been called Twilight Princess and Wind Waker HD ports on the Switch.
“The thing is, again, even if we haven’t heard about it yet, I’m going to assume that it will happen now while we wait for the future of Breath of the Wild 2. But we hear that, and we’ve heard it. other things, again Metroid Prime remaster, it looks like it should be announced in something like this.

Grubb said he heard from “a good source” that the event will take place the week of September 12.
Twilight Princess and Wind Waker have already been given the HD treatment on the Wii U and are now among the last few Nintendo games that haven’t been ported to the Switch.
As for what he’s heard about the Direct, Minotti said that everything outside of the Twilight Princess and Wind Waker announcements is information.
“Metroid Prime stuff seems like it should happen. There’s a lot of hype to cover in one thing, but maybe it’s going to be a small topic here.”
Metroid Prime’s long-awaited Nintendo Switch remaster will finally be released at the end of this year, Grubb recently said.
He said on the Giant Bomb show in June that he was told “with absolute certainty” that the title would arrive in time for the Prime Minister‘s 20th anniversary in November.
Metroid Prime remasters have reportedly been coming for years, with one confirmed as recently as November that the Prime 1 remaster was finished and ready to be released.
