From November 6-18, 2022, senior US officials from over 16 agencies and organizations will travel to Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, to advance climate ambitions and ensure a strong outcome at the 2022 UN Climate Conference (COP27) .
The US delegation will be led by the special presidential climate envoy John Kerry. Other senior US officials include:

Can anyone go to COP27? Personal attendance at the sessions of the Conference of Members of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is open to registered representatives of Parties, observer states and accepted observer organizations. What is COP climate change?

By attending as a representative of an observer organization: Certain NGOs (non-governmental organizations) and IGOs (intergovernmental organizations) have observer status to attend COP26.
Parties to the Convention, the United Nations and related organizations and agencies, the media and non-profit organizations with observer status may attend the sessions of the Convention, in accordance with Article 7, paragraph 6 of the Convention.
