South Korean action game Gungrave Gore will officially arrive on Xbox Game Pass on day one.
Bobby Jung-Woo Park, business development manager at Gangnam, Seoul-based developer Studio Iggymob, confirmed the news in a post on Xbox Wire.
“We are pleased to announce today that players on Xbox One and Xbox Seriesrs X / S will be able to play the legendary anti-hero gunslinger in Gungrave Gore on day one with Xbox Game Pass (Console, PC, Cloud) starting November 22, 2022″, he said.
Publisher Prime Matter will also release the game for PS4, PS5 and PC via Steam on the same date.
Plans to bring Gungrave Gore to Game Pass first surfaced last week after Microsoft mentioned the title in an email detailing the upcoming games for its subscription service.
Gungrave Gore is the sequel to Gungrave and Gungrave: Overdose, released on PS2 in 2002 and 2004 respectively.
The third-person action series follows an undead anti-hero gunslinger called Beyond the Grave. In Gungrave Gore, Grave must rid the world of the drug SEED and defeat the Raven Clan, its suppliers.
Gungrave Gore is the latest example of a multi-format game coming to Xbox Game Pass on the day of its release.
At last month’s Gamescom, it was revealed that Pinocchio-inspired Lies of P will also be a Day One Game Pass title.
Microsoft recently revealed the next batch of titles headed to Xbox Game Pass for console, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
