The next game in the Monster Hunter franchise has apparently leakedthrough Discord.
In a now-deleted tweet, user @neonaga99 revealed that by testing the Discord engine using the platform’s developer mode build, some placeholder events scheduled for later in the year could be activation.
While these were mostly blank, one invited players to claim a code for ‘Monster Hunter Paradise’, which confirmed the title of the next game in the series.

The redeem code won’t actually do anything, yet, but it does offer players an Xbox, PlayStation or PC code, apparently confirming the platforms the game is intended for. It is also unclear if the code is for Beta access, additional content, or something else.
The next mainline game in the series, and the sequel to Monster Hunter World, has been expected for some time after appearing as part of Capcom’s markable leak, under the name Monster Hunter 6 .
This entry is unlikely to come to Nintendo Switch, outside of a cloud version. Capcom previously opened up the prospect of Monster Hunter World coming to Nintendo Switch, due to its graphic intensity.
However, the Nintendo Switch has its own Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter Rise, which recently received a major expansion, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.
VGC’s Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak review said: “The original Monster Hunter Rise is a really great game, so it would be nice if this expansion was bigger, but Sunbreak feels like it deserves its price tag and then some.
“The barometer of good Monster Hunter content is if you want to run the same fights over and over again to eliminate your character against the most terrifying flying beast you’ve ever seen, and after a few hours with the Break of the Sun, we could feel the addiction swinging back.
“Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak is a great expansion that will appeal to those Hunters who are desperate for something new, make sure you’re ready, or you’ll quickly get sick of a bunch of Palicos dragging your lifeless body up the road. .”
