The tritium direct current fast charger manufacturer has officially opened the doors to its new EV charger manufacturing facility in Lebanon, Tennessee, its first production footprint in the United States. With it, Tritium wants to bring more than 500 new jobs to the state.

Founded in 2001, Tritium ($DCFC) is a global hardware and software manufacturer for DC fast chargers (DCFCs) with offices in the US and Europe.

Last February, Tritium announced a new manufacturing facility to the United States on the same day that company CEO Jane Hunter met with President Biden.

Tritium also shared that all DC fast chargers built in future US facilities are expected to comply with the applicable Buy America Act provisions on domestic supplies as part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Hunter then said:
