Welcome back to the All-Team Countdown’s Top 10 Favorite Video Games. We are finally at the end.

With this countdown, Jon Johnston and I will be counting down our top 10 video games of all time. The countdown background can be found at the link for #10, but as you can probably tell, Jon and I grew up playing different video games with me growing up in the greatest era of all time and Jon growing up in another.

If you want to catch up on the countdown, here you go: 10th place. 9th place. 8th place. 7th place. 6th place. 5th place. 4th place. 3rd place. 2nd place.

Now for our final installment of our favorite video games of all time.

Nate’s 1st Place Game – Metal Gear Solid

The game that changed everything for me. Read also : The Biggest Tree in Video Games. Looking at the video below, the graphics were so pedestrian, but at the time everything about the game was fantastic.

The story. Bosses. Stealth tactics.

This was my experience “playing” with the bad guys. I loved just going around corners and knocking just to get their attention. Then leaving and hiding so the bad guy would look and sound confused and then just get on with life.

The map on top showing their field of view was also great.

One of the most original ideas from this game was when you fought Psycho Mantis. He was psychic, and it was like he could read your mind and know where you were going.

I’m not sure how I got this. Maybe I heard about it from a friend or something, but if you unplug your controller from port 1 and plug it into port 2, then Psycho Mantis can no longer read your mind.

I assume everyone reading this is playing the game so there really isn’t much to say. I liked that.

Jon’s 1st Place Game – Skyrim

I’ve said before that Red Dead Redemption 2 is the most perfect video game ever created. To see also : How IU football is helping EA Sports prepare for the relaunch of the ‘NCAA Football’ video game. Could anything be better?

If there is one, it’s The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim.

I can’t even imagine calling yourself a gamer if you haven’t played this game. The world is free and vast. The game is varied; you can play as one of 10 different races. Three different types of elf, orc, cat (Khajit), corporate type (Imperial), Lizard (Argonian), so you can play through the game many times and have a different experience.

This game was released in 2011 and to this day remains one of the best gaming experiences. It’s a combination of storytelling and variety that is very rare in games.

There are so many games that rely on “go there, do this, take what you want” that they become unplayable over time. Skyrim uses this, but the adventure on the road remains interesting enough to not become boring.

It remains impressive enough to listen to the Soundtrack as the focus music, and watching on YouTube it’s clear that others are doing the same.

I don’t have this game on my PS4. That needs fixing, because it’s time to face the Dragons again.

You don’t even have to play a game to escape this world we live in. You can just listen to music while you work and BAM!, there you are in the mountains.

The only negative thing I can say about this game is that the vampire bite scared me a little. It’s very picky.

If you’ve never played this (I can’t imagine how stupid you’d be to play a ton of games but never played Skyrim), you need to correct that mistake now!
