CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Four North Carolina teams came together for a great cause on Thursday, October 27 at Anderson Softball Stadium. For the second year in a row, both lacrosse teams as well as softball and baseball competed to raise money for UNC Children’s Hospital. & # xD;

The men’s lacrosse and softball teams consist of one team and the women’s lacrosse and baseball consist of another. The teams faced off in a seven-inning “Lax Ball,” a baseball/softball hybrid played with a tennis ball, in which women’s lacrosse and baseball earned 5-4 victories. & # xD;

There were about 400 spectators in attendance for the event, which was emceed by former UNC basketball player Eric Montross, raising more than $2,700 for the hospital. The event also featured opportunities for local children and fans to trick or treat for the Halloween holiday around the concourse. & # xD;
