It’s no secret that Adele’s fans have been in awe of the star’s incredible figure, but how did she manage to lose 7 stone? Changes in her lifestyle started back in 2012, according to recent news.

The Grammy Award winner, once known for her love of a cigarette and a sweet cuppa, has had a few chart-topping hits, but it was the birth of her son, Angelo, nine years ago. along with the need to protect her voice after surgery, this began her personal transformation.

Back in 2012, Adele started improving what she eats, according to Mirror Online. The London-born singer decided to make sure her vocalist was careful and ditched her daily cuppa, waving off 10 cups of sugary tea a day. Next was alcohol, cigarettes, caffeine and all “spicy, citrus and hot” foods.

She admitted to Australia’s 60 Minutes: “It’s just boring, but I don’t think you take your voice seriously until you have an accident.” Speaking about her vocal bleeding in 2011, she said: “I’m constantly afraid that I’m going to damage my voice.”

Aiming to “gain some stamina”, the star shed more pounds in 2016 ahead of her tour. Then in 2017 she was believed to have lost more than two stone, allegedly due to introducing another change – the Sirtfood diet.

The diet claims that a follower can “eat their way to rapid weight loss and a longer life by triggering the metabolic superpowers of the Sirt Diet.” Thinners are filled with plant foods such as kale, buckwheat, green tea and turmeric.

The foods are known as sirtuin activators and are said to control the way the body processes fat and sugar and regulate appetite in the process. The menu also includes green tea and cocoa powder, along with red wine and cheese.

The diet website features pictures of Adele alongside Conor McGregor and David Haye. All three are shown with an individual quote. “I’m eating like a king these days,” says Conor, as Adele’s picture reads: “Adele’s secret fat-melting diet”.

In an attempt to improve her health from all angles, the singer has also made some changes to her fitness regime. The third step in her transformation was to hire Los Angeles ‘body wizard’ Pilates instructor Camila Goodis – who also works with Piers Morgan’s wife Celia Walden.

It is understood that Camila met Adele through Robbie Williams’ wife Ayda Field. The down-to-earth star is still not a big fan of working out.

Camila told The Sun: “I’ve been training Ayda for a long time and they happen to be good friends so I did Adele when she was there at Robbie’s house. I don’t think she liked working out a lot but she changed her lifestyle and I believe she’s 90 after being on a diet.”

Despite Adele’s dedication, she has refreshingly admitted that she will never, ever enjoy going to the gym. “I’m mostly moaning. I’m not hitting the gym. I’m not enjoying it,” she told Rolling Stone in 2016.

“I like to do weights. I don’t like looking in the mirror. Blood vessels in my face burst very easily, so I’m very conscious when lifting weights that I don’t let them burst in my face. don’t go on tour, you’ll catch me back to the Chinese!”
