The all-electric crossover main light has a pixel module and 84 controllable LEDs each. High -tech lights illuminate the road particularly efficiently, adjusting dynamically to traffic and avoiding other road users. Front cameras and radar permanently scan the road, allowing up to five vehicles to be evacuated at once. Smart LED pixel lights The lights on the new C40 combine daytime running lights, position lights and turn signal lights in a particularly compact form. Adaptive lighting systems with cameras and radar sensors guarantee a high level of road safety by optimally illuminating the road without oncoming traffic. This is achieved by individually controlled LEDs combined in a pixel module. The front camera and radar eyes detect the vehicle or vehicles coming in front and enable or disable the LED lights on the headlamp pixel module via the control unit. The so -called ForTIR element light finger uses an apron to project parts of the low beams onto the road. It is a flat projection module that is only 13 millimeters tall and also becomes a design element in the main lamp. The headlamp headlight design, typical of Volvo, features a “Thor Hammer” shape, to which special attention has been paid to homogeneity.
