The Consular Section of the United States Embassy in Athens, Greece will be closed two days this week for a Greek holiday and one day of field office training as detailed below:

Wednesday, October 26, 2022 – Closed

Friday, October 28, 2022 – Closed for Greek OXI Day (holiday)

We will be open for business as usual on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 and Thursday, October 27, 2022 (by appointment only). The consular section will resume normal activity from Monday, October 31, 2022. At closing, we will no longer offer US passports, notary services, visa services, or appointments for federal benefits. Those seeking assistance in an emergency involving the death, arrest, hospitalization, or serious illness of a US citizen may contact the Embassy at 210-721-2951.
