After the release of Virgin River Season 4 on July 20, fans are already looking forward to the release of Virgin River Season 5, and it’s understandable.
The fourth season of Netflix’s romantic drama ended with a series of cliffhangers that left us stunned and ripped our jaws off the ground. The season finale scene, in particular, was the one that promises to rock Mel and Jack’s world next season and we’re still processing the shock bomb that fell on us.
The good news is that Virgin River Season 5 is coming to Netflix. The bad news is that fans shouldn’t expect the fifth season of Virgin River to arrive anytime in 2022.
When could Virgin River season 5 release on Netflix?
While we would like to see the fifth season of Virgin River arrive in 2022, Virgin River season 5 is not expected to arrive on Netflix until 2023. To see also : Transylvania meets California in the first trailer for Netflix’s Day Shift. Specifically, we expect the fifth season to arrive in July 2023.
Although Virgin River began airing as a fall series with its first two seasons in November, Netflix found great success releasing new seasons of the series in July.
Considering the strong viewership the show enjoyed in July, we can’t see Netflix shaking things up and delaying the show’s release. We also don’t see them dropping the season until July, which could bring it into conflict with other Netflix romantic dramas.
As Netflix tends to only confirm release dates closer to a show’s return, it’s unlikely that Virgin River Season 5 will receive a release date before the end of 2022. However, as soon as news will be announced, we’ll be sure to let you know!
