Talking about the importance of the doctor, Baby explained that he wanted to share his life story to inspire others to pursue their dreams.

“If just one person is inspired to believe that their lives can change, or be close to what they dream of, then this documentary was worth making,” the rapper said. “I just want to share my story in the hopes that it will help others get to their own best story.”

Director Karam Gill mirrored these feelings and said he hopes Baby’s story reveals more about this country and the obstacles many people face.

“Lil Baby is an artist who really evolved and grew to become one of today’s most important voices for change,” Gill said. “I hope his journey sheds light on the major socio-economic problems our country is facing and makes viewers feel inspired.”
