Cyberpunk 2077 was expected to be one of the most significant releases of the latest console generation, just as the PS5 and Xbox Series X launched, but it all went awry at launch.

The PS5 and Xbox Series X/S editions of the game were developed externally by Saber Interactive, who previously also managed the Nintendo Switch port of the game, but they have now been taken internally by CD Projekt to complete development.
A new entry in the The Witcher franchise is currently in pre-production.
