Several images that appear to be from the Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer suite have surfaced online, having been discovered in Warzone Mobile archives.
The images, which have now been deleted, were originally posted by @R3AL1TYUK, a Twitter account that was suspended following several alleged DMCA removals by Activision.
On an Imgur re-host of these images (via Charlie Intel) you can see the maps and their names.

The first of the multiplayer map images is for a location called “Grand Prix”. which as the name and image suggest, takes place around a racing circuit. See the article : The argument that video games fuel mass shootings?.
The second, “Oilfield” is similarly self-descriptive. The third image on the map is known as the “Museum”, although it is unknown if this only refers to the outside of the building or if most of the map will take place inside.

Another map. internally codenamed “Saba” was also posted on Twitter, however, details on the map’s location are scarce.

The original poster of the map images, currently posted on the alternate account @RealiityUK (although this is likely to be closed soon) also teased that they have images of the following maps;
Favela is likely to be a remake or reimagining of the Modern Warfare 2 (2009) map that also took place in the favelas of Brazil.

Alongside this leak, footage purporting to be from Black Ops 5 was also discovered.
The images, which were posted online, may point to the game taking place during the Gulf War.
Activision recently confirmed that the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 release date is October 28, 2022.
The publisher claims it will feature a roving campaign, multiplayer, and an “evolved” Special Ops mode.
Activision has officially announced that Warzone 2.0 will be released later this year.
The publisher confirmed in April that a new free-to-play Warzone experience was being built from the ground up alongside Modern Warfare 2, led by developer Infinity Ward.
