You may have seen the new lines on USA TODAY, so let’s officially introduce the new Travel team.
Three new consumer travel reporters have joined the team this summer covering everything you need to know to plan, enjoy and make the most of your next trip.
I’m Josh Rivera, travel editor, and I’ve been at USA TODAY since 2016 in various capacities such as opinion editor, consumer editor and audience editor.
When travel resumed following the COVID-19 pandemic shutdowns, we had to change most of our coverage restrictions and protocols to reflect the needs of our audience (you!). Whether you’re traveling for work, to visit family or simply have a great vacation we hope to be a trusted news source to help you throughout your journey – along with our partners 10Best and Review.
If you’re on a getaway or just love us and don’t want to miss anything we do, consider signing up for our Travel newsletter (click here).
The USA TODAY Travel Team remains committed to highlighting the experiences of underrepresented communities while traveling and is always looking for ways to include those in daily stories.
You can follow me on Twitter @Josh1Rivera, or contact me at jrivera@usatoday.com for pitches.
Freelancers are welcome to submit forms on this form (click here), but if you need a specific location you can email me directly. Due to the volume of calls, please allow a reasonable amount of time for a response.
Without further ado, here is USA Today’s new travel team.
