The 2022 college football bowl season continued Wednesday night on FOX and the FOX Sports app as No. 15 Oregon played North Carolina in the Holiday Bowl.
Both teams were looking to end their seasons on a high note after each faded late in the season.
In the end, Bo Nix and Oregon came out on top, riding a late rally to a 28-27 victory.

Bucky Irving scored his second touchdown of the game early in the second quarter, scampering 66 yards to pay dirt as the Ducks took a 14-7 lead. The sophomore has 107 yards on just five carries to this point.

… and the score was tied 14-14 as halftime approached.
Oregon was driving when UNC caught a break with a bizarre interception that bounced off the Tar Heel cleats like a football.
Moments later, UNC took a 21-14 lead on another Maye touchdown pass, this one from 49 yards to Kobe Paysou.
After a back-to-back first half, the third quarter was scoreless, although John Copenhaver gifted the crowd with a highlight reel catch.
Oregon pulled within three in the fourth quarter, when Bo Nix hit Troy Franklin with a 6-yard score.
Nix led Oregon to a late touchdown to tie the game at 27-27 with 19 seconds left. All the Ducks needed was the extra point to pull out the win. Easy right?
It might not be easy, but the shot went in – just barely – and the Ducks pulled out the win.
