The Premier League has confirmed its live games over the Christmas and New Year period following the winter World Cup.
England’s top flight will break after the weekend of November 12/13 to include the tournament in Qatar but will return on Boxing Day, with seven games live on Amazon Prime including Aston Villa vs Liverpool (kick-off 5.30pm) and the London derby at 8pm. between Arsenal and West Ham.
Nottingham Forest’s trip to Manchester United kicks off at 8pm on December 27, while Leeds face Manchester City at the same time the following day, before Liverpool host Leicester on December 30 in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
A live double header on New Year’s Day will see Wolves welcome Manchester United to Molineux, before Brighton host Arsenal.
Other matches selected for televising in the first week of January include Arsenal v Newcastle on January 3 and Manchester City’s trip to Chelsea on January 5. Further TV selections for January are yet to be confirmed.
The Premier League has also confirmed several revised kick-off dates and times for the start of 2023 to help the recovery times between rounds 18 and 19.
