McCarthy, in his thirteenth season as the team’s televised voice on NBC Sports Philadelphia, was in the booth on Friday to call Phillies-Braves. But he will miss matches on Saturday and Sunday because he will broadcast the Indianapolis Colts to the Jacksonville Jaguars for CBS along with former Giants running back Tiki Barber.
Once again, Phillies’ longtime radio announcer Scott Franzke will replace McCarthy on TV, calling both games alongside analyst Ben Davis. Saturday’s game will air on NBC10 at 7:20 pm and Sunday’s game at 1:35 pm. will be on NBC Sports Philadelphia.

McCarthy told The Inquirer that this will be the last time this season he will miss a Phillies game to call the NFL.
