However, that hasn’t stopped both programs from continuing to recruit for future classes, as this week again brought many developments, offers, and recruiting news.

In order to give an overview of everything that has happened in the last seven days, here is the weekly recruitment recap.

The Cleveland native continues to see interest pour in from around the country, and the Badgers are one of the few schools to offer McCulloch in July. At 6-foot-8, he has the ability to score inside or from three-pointers, making him an exciting prospect to watch.

Indiana, Cincinnati and Ohio State have all offered McCulloch since the Badgers’ offer on Monday.

Basketball: 2023 official visits

The Badgers will have one of their top remaining 2023 rookies on campus this week for an official visit, as Nolan Winter arrives in town on Aug. See the article : Traveling on July 4th: departure time and other driving tips. 3 (first reported by 247 Sports’ Evan Flood).

The Lakeville North High School standout has been a top Wisconsin target for some time now, and the Badgers will be looking to add the talented big man alongside current commitments John Blackwell and Gus Yalden. Minnesota is considered the other favorite for the winter, but this visit will be important for Wisconsin’s chances.

The wing’s top prospect Gehrig Normand of Texas wrapped up an official visit to Michigan State over the weekend, culminating in a scholarship offer from the Spartans. The 6-foot-6 small forward visited Madison in late June and is also one of the Badgers’ top remaining targets. The new offer could upend Normand’s recruitment, as Normand had previously made official visits to Missouri, Oklahoma State and Wisconsin, with additional interest from Texas and many other top schools.

The Badgers made their twelfth offer in the 2025 class this week, offering fine rusher/tight edge Gabe Kaminski from Nazareth Academy in Illinois.

The 6-foot-3 athlete was an all-conference selection as a rookie last season, combining for 47 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and 12 sacks.

Kaminski noted that Wisconsin assistant Bobby April made the offer in a phone call, likely making him a rookie outside linebacker for the Badgers.

A quick and wiry athlete, Kaminski is incredibly athletic and already holds several offers despite only entering his sophomore year of high school in 2022. Illinois, Iowa and Tennessee have also offered him to this day.

The Badgers hosted Kaminski in March for a junior day and have one of his high school teammates, safety Justin Taylor, committed to the recruiting class of 2023.

You can check out highlights from Kaminski’s freshman year below.

There are few players the Wisconsin Badgers have targeted in the in-state recruiting class of 2023 so far, holding only one state commitment in running back Nate. White.

However, the Badgers took a significant step toward potentially adding another state commitment, providing a prime opportunity for Will McDonald of Hudson, Wisconsin.

McDonald knows the program very well, as his older brother plays defensive end for UW, and the coaching staff hopes to add Will to join the same group of positions.

Ranked the state’s second-ranked player by 247 Sports, McDonald holds multiple scholarship offers and told All Badgers he’s also considering Kansas, North Dakota State and North America. Illinois.

You can read more about McDonald’s and Wisconsin’s pursuit of the three-star defensive end here, or check out his junior highlights below.
