“Ever since I was young, I’ve been working with sparks of passion. And I thought these sparks were the right material for it. That’s why I chose fire,” J-Hope explains.

J-Hope uploaded his very first Instagram reel to give fans a look back at the making of his new “Arson” music video.

The BTS rapper, who just released the solo studio album Jack in the Box while the band is on a temporary break, set out to chat about the music video concept and share a glimpse of his impressive set and special effects.

“A lot of things are set on fire, ashes are left behind,” J-Hope said of the artistic vision behind the visual song.

“The theme is visualized starting with this outfit,” he notes. “Overall, I plan to record the message of this song with this music video.”

In the clip – which had more than 34 million views – he then turned the conversation on his new album as a whole.

J-Hope said, “I put a lot of effort into this album. I tried to show my true colors in it. I also tried a lot of new things. While listening to my album, I hope you enjoy this new page of J-Hope. Hope sees and enjoys it.

The song, which just hit Big Hit Music with the album’s release this week, was predicted on July 1st by the lead single “MORE”.
