Bush Tetras Reemerge at Elsewhere
Most of the time, Bush Tetras aren’t emerging attire. Formed in 1979 in Lower Manhattan, the band’s original iteration only lasted three years. During this time, they helped usher in the hugely influential style of dance-oriented post-punk, sometimes referred to as “mutant disco,” which simultaneously appeared on both sides of the Atlantic.
