Colorado Mountain College Business School is calling on business owners and nonprofit leaders and managers located in the 12,000-square-mile district of the college and in the the service to complete an online survey aimed at gathering information on the region’s labor market and other needs.
“The survey will help build CMC / business partnerships and generate data on business needs,” a news release stated. “Surveys could eventually lead to apprenticeship opportunities for CMC students to work with local companies, organizations and small businesses, and create learning opportunities by applying what students are studying to environments based on work. “
The CMC School of Business Needs Survey can be found at coloradomtn.edu/labormarket and takes about 10 minutes to complete, says the release.
CMC plans to utilize data taken from the survey as the focal point for two events this fall.
The first 2022 Summit on the State of the Labor Market at the CMC Business School is scheduled at the Morgridge Commons in Glenwood Springs on November 7, followed by the second summit on the CMC Leadville campus. on 9 November. Both events are scheduled to begin from 8-11 a.m., and the business community is welcome and encouraged to attend, says the release.
