CHICAGO (CBS) – A man was shot while trying to rob a business in Rosemoor on Sunday afternoon.
The incident took place in the 10300 block of South Calumet around 12:01 p.m.
Police say the perpetrator tried to rob the business premises when he was carrying a gun from someone at the scene of the shooting.
The perpetrator fired back but no one was injured, according to police.
The victim was taken to Christ Hospital in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the chin.
The Second Zone is investigating.
