Netflix adds new movies and shows to its lineup every week and this is no different. This week we get a new season of a Netflix horror series, a new family dramedy, a new season of a fan-favorite Netflix show, and a new vampire movie.
First up season 3 of Locke & Key. This is a bit surprising, because in the past new seasons have been released in February or July. This time it’s Wednesday, Aug 10. This is the third and final season of the fantasy horror show.
Season 3 will have Tyler back at Keyhouse Manor to fight demons once again. He thought he could get away with it, but it looks like that’s not the case.
Captain Gideon will be the big bad this season. Last season he stepped out through the portal and is now ready to create all kinds of chaos.
According to the showrunners, they were able to overcome the last two seasons, so you know there are some big things coming.

Day Shift and 13: The Musical hitting Netflix this week
13: The Musical is also coming to Netflix this week. It will begin streaming on Friday, August 12. The show is based on the Broadway musical and stars Josh Peck, Rhea Perlman, Debra Messing, Peter Hermann, Eli Golden, Micheala Luci, and JD McCrary.
The story follows Evan Goldman, a boy who has just moved from NYC to a small town in Indiana. This may interest you : The National Health Network is offering free workshops in August. His 13th birthday is just around the corner and he has to figure out how to deal with his new school, make new friends and turn his Bar Mitzvah into the best party of the year. No big ones.
Never Have I Ever is also back with its third season. This season Devi continues to deal with the pressures of school, home, and relationships. And now that she has chosen a boy so far, Paxton, they have to deal with all the ups and downs that come with that. Paxton is the most popular boy in school and that’s not all it’s cracked up to be if you’re the girl dating him. It will be interesting to see how Devi manages it.

Netflix also has a new Jamie Foxx movie coming out this week. Day Shift may sound like a boring title, but the film is anything but. It follows Bud Jablonski as he does his job: hunting and killing vampires.
But Bud kicked himself out of the vampire hunters union so the job isn’t as great as it used to be. Vampires, vampire hunters, and unions! What more could you want?!
In addition to Jamie Foxx, the new film stars Snoop Dogg, Dave Franco, Carla Souza, Meagan Good, Scott Atkins and Natasha Liu Bordizzo. It comes to Netflix on Friday, August 12th.
This week also brings Riverdale season 6 on Sunday, August 7, I just killed my father on Tuesday, August 9, and Iron Chef Brazil on Wednesday, August 10.
