Prey Brings the Predator Franchise to New Heights

One of the biggest movies coming out of San Comic-Con International 2022 was Prey, the latest installment in the Predator franchise. Set in 1717, a young Comanche warrior (Amber Midthunder) finds herself squaring off against a bounty hunter visiting Earth for his own prized quarry. Judging by early reviews, Prey may be the film that restores the reputation of the Predator film series after years of mediocre sequels and spin-offs.

While the original Predator movie from 1987 was an unabashed celebration and homage to the machismo of ’80s action movies, Prey takes the franchise in a bold new direction. From its imaginative setting to its loyal and effective cast, Prey delivers on the tension and non-stop action. To see also : Amazon is launching AMC + and Acorn TV on Prime Video Channels in India. Reservation Dogs Return for a Second Round of Hijinks on Hulu

After a critically acclaimed inaugural season, the Hulu original series Reservation Dogs is back, returning to life on a Native reservation in Oklahoma. The first two episodes are available to stream, and the remaining eight episodes of the season are released weekly. See the article : What’s Streaming on Prime Video This Week: Don’t Make Me Go and More. And if the first two episodes of Reservation Dogs Season 2 are any indicator, the comedy is funnier than ever.

Mixing a heartbreaking crime story about the impoverished community on the reservation with young adult shenanigans, Reservation Dogs was never an attention-grabbing show. Created by Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi, the series has a touch of absurdity, and its main characters act as the ultimate underdogs. With a new episode every Wednesday, the dog days of summer on Hulu are firmly about Reservation Dogs as it picks up where it left off and then some.

While Paramount + may be home to the future of the Star Trek franchise, several fan-favorite films have recently made their way to Prime Video this month. The Outlaws Reunite for a Hilarious New Season

The Office was co-creator Stephen Merchant and Mayans M.C. Co-creator Elgin James teamed up for the British comedy The Outlaws, which made its international premiere on Prime Video earlier this year. And after protecting one of their own from a vicious street gang, the unlikely group is back together for a second season.

Merchant is joined by co-stars Christopher Walken, Rhianne Barreto and Gamba Cole, each offering a different perspective on life in Bristol.
