Academy Award winner Brad Pitt returns to the big screen in Bullet Train, flexing his skills as an action star while demonstrating his ability to get laughs on screen with a star-studded cast in a pulse-pounding story. Based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka, the film follows the character of Pitt Ladybug, a down-on-his-luck ex-soldier who is forced to seek a way out of this life of killing for hire.
But his caretaker, Maria Beetle, played by Sandra Bullock, brings him back into the field for what she considers an easy task. He had to take the bullet train to Kyoto from Tokyo and carry a bag. Unfortunately, he is not the only killer on board, and Ladybug soon discovers that this is no coincidence as their actions are connected.
