History Hit, the SVOD platform founded by historian Dan Snow, has launched on Amazon’s Prime Video Channels in the UK.
It is available for £6.99 per month, which can be added to the customer’s monthly Amazon bill.
The platform was bought by All3Media Little Dot Studios two years ago.
James Carson, managing director at History Hit, said: “Prime Video Channels is one of the most widely used streaming services on a smart TV. It’s a huge step for History Hit to become part of the Prime Video Channels experience, bringing our growing content library of hundreds of historical documentaries to millions of users in the UK.”
History Hit is also available through Roku, Apple TV, Samsung Smart TV and X-Box among others.
His catalog includes popular shows such as Endurance Rediscovered and Digging up the Dark Ages with Dan Snow, as well as the latest releases Uncovering the Band of Brothers Series and Waterloo Uncovered.
