The Boys isn’t the only cartoon-based drama on Prime Video, as Paper Girls is heading to the streaming platform.
Based on Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang’s critically acclaimed comic book series of the same name, which has six volumes in total, the series is sure to be a hit with fans of the sci-fi genre as well as those who appreciate the original comics.

When Is ‘Paper Girls’ Out?
Paper Girls will be released on Prime Video, with all eight episodes available at once on the streaming platform. The show lands on Friday the 29th. July at midnight PT, which is 3:00 a.m. ET, 2:00 a.m. CT, and 1:00 a.m. MT.

What Will ‘Paper Girls’ Be About?
Set in 1988, Paper Gils follows a group of four 12-year-old girls who meet the morning after Halloween while completing the paper route.
The shift is Erin Tieng’s first as Paper Girl, and she meets Tiffany Quilkin, Mac Coyle and KJ Brandman at the start, and the quartet is soon unexpectedly thrown into a time war between two alien factions. Their meeting with the group leads them to travel through time to try and save the world.
Who Stars in ‘Paper Girls’?

They are joined in the cast by Ali Wong, who plays the grown-up Erin, Nate Corddry as the time-traveling rebel Larry, and Adina Porter as the Prioress, a leader of the Old-Timers whose mission is to preserve the original timeline.
Wong isn’t the only one portraying a grown-up version of the main quartet in the show’s first season, as Sekaj Abeni plays grown-up Tiffany, and Delia Cunningham portrays grown-up KJ.
