RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Families are invited to paint, craft and create at the Nevada Family Art Gallery as part of Artown.
Executive director, Jackie Clay, stopped Morning Break to encourage families with children of all ages to stop by the Lake Mansion Cultural Center and the Reno Cultural Center between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16.
The event is free and no registration is required. There will be creative craft stations, a free book for each child and an opportunity to explore the history of Patty Cafferata’s Lake House.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The Lake Mansion Arts and Culture Center is located at 250 Court St. & Arlington Street.
