The Lake
After its release on June 17, 2022, The Lake is the Amazon Prime event fans have been waiting for. It quickly became one of Prime Video’s best comedies on the Top 10 List. The Sessions
The Sessions is a sports documentary that follows NBA superstar Draymond Green, and season 1 already had five stars. The miniseries is expected to have more than one season after rave reviews and a deeper look into the lives of professional athletes and the need to help themselves.
In season 1, sports and fitness fans watch Green on a mission to better self-care. He meets various experts to help him balance a well-meaning life on and off the pitch. Dark Winds
With four and a half stars, Dark Winds is another new TV series that Amazon members can stream on Prime Video. Season 1 was released in June and is a perfect mix of drama, thrill and mystery. Starring Zahn McClrnon, Kiowa Gordon, and Jessica Matten, the drama never ends for these Navajo police officers.
The series is set in the 70s when officers are thrown into a double homicide case that makes them question their own beliefs. Finding a balance between tradition and modern society, the plot thickens with each episode as the officers try to solve the case. As of this writing, there are currently five episodes to watch on Prime Video while one new episode is released from AMC each week. It’s slowly becoming one of the best TV shows to watch on Prime Video this month, as AMC has turned on a second season.
