Beloved actor Cameron Diaz in the 90s and 2000s has officially returned after four years of retirement from acting. Her new film Netflix, appropriately titled Back in Action will be a comedy film also starring Jamie Foxx.
The film is directed by Seth Gordon, whose credits include Horrible Bosses, The Goldbergs, Baywatch and others. He will also be directing episodes of the upcoming Netflix series The Night of Agent. The article for Back in Action was co-authored by Gordon and Brendan O’Brien (Neighbors).
The announcement came from star Jamie Foxx himself, who posted on his Twitter account a recording of a conversation with her friend Cameron Diaz, expressing how excited she is about the project:
