2022 Art Auction Preview Exhibition
The Visual artOceanside Museum of Art’s (OMA) annual art exhibition is currently underway, with a timeline for online presentation and in-person exhibitions of all art projects. This may interest you : This week in Oakland: Town Nights, and music at Redwood Heights Park. There are many of them: 78 works by 72 artists from the Los Angeles area to Tijuana.
The online exhibition is currently open for launch until August 1, 2022, and you can check out the artwork in the sales channel. It will not replace replacing them at a personal exhibition, though, which is open to the public until July 31. Then these paintings will go to their new homes. Options include a large number of famous artists and even some recognizable works, such as “Chiapas Racers” by photographer Don Bartletti; Kaori Fukuyama’s stunning work, “Space Between Proof and Unknown”; several pieces by Amanda Kachadoorian; three of Julia San Roman and many more.
In addition, if you visit OMA at certain times this weekend, you may experience some excitement. On Friday, it was the first Friday concert of the Gift, featuring Taryn Donath Duo. Generally free admission to the museum starts at 5 p.m., and theater starts at 6 p.m.
From noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, you can experience Shinpei Takeda’s amazing show “Limited Your Safe Space” with an avatar version of many of the most talented real-life contributors in the show – using a VR headset. The average 20-minute time for these items is selling fast

Good Faith Summer School: Typography and Flyer Design 101
Visual technology, ClassesGood Faith Gallery’s new summer school program is the perfect antidote to all of those summer camps, creating summer camps that kids come to. For adults only, you can take fall courses in DJing, death clothing, color theory, cinematography and offer this weekend: writing and writing style. Andrew Reyes is an accomplished graphic designer and illustrator who has created many stunning writing fields for his past fine works of Faith. For each of these summer school classes, there is a Sunday morning and evening session.

‘Sauced’: Intoxicating Dances at Art Produce
DancerDancer and singer Erica Buechner have teamed up for a special performance at Art Produce, in a short, 30-minute series that can be watched while sitting in, with a ticket, or from the side of the street, as a passerby . This may interest you : Every video game release in July 2022.
The exhibition promises to be fun and entertaining, with performances by Buechner, Bradley Lundberg and Blythe Barton. Additional dancers include Nikki Dunnan, Robby Johnson, Jessica Rabanzo-Flores, Nick McGhee and David Wornovitzky. Ticket holders may arrive early for the first drink (so is it?), Along with a cocktail and a cocktail.
Warning: Tickets for indoor seating are sold out quickly.

An evening with Lora Mathis and friends
Poetry, MusicPoet, visual designer, writer and zinemaker Lora Mathis creates strong and weak works, whether in their “movie” series, drawings or books. I recently saw Mathis working with Matty Terrones in Swish Projects, showing a picture and stopping while reading songs, all set to Terrones noise technology.
For this program in the art mix and public space Brown Building, joining Mathis and Terrones will be several Los Angeles-based singers: Maddi Baird, Leah Levinson and Club Café.

Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ in concert, live-to-film
The music, Friday night’s film, captures Marvel’s 2018 film “Black Panther” at The Shell, with the San Diego Symphony featuring the stunning live version of Ludwig Göransson. Also featured in the play is Senegalese singer Massamba Diop, who performs “deliberate speech,” or dundund, which is used in the tone of voice to emphasize the works of T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman). Diop himself can be heard in the original soundtrack, and will be joining the San Diego Symphony for this concert.
The instruments, usually glass clocks, a rumbling drum with you on each side, are called the speech drum for a reason: it can really mimic the speech patterns of the Yoruba language and is used by the Yoruba natives. to share songs, prayers or announcements. .

‘Leonard Bernstein’s New York’
Theater, MusicA provides a two-part style, this exhibition from New Village Arts will be performed on the outdoor stage at the Carlsbad Flower Ground in July. The play features many of Bernstein’s most iconic songs, and follows two characters as they explore New York City – a place that has a profound effect on Bernstein’s work. Produced by Johnisa Breault and Trevor Rex, and produced by Kristianne Kurner.
Details: This weekend’s games are 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday (preview), and the opening day is 2 p.m. Sunday. On stage July 31, 2022. Flower Places at Carlsbad Ranch, 5704 Paseo Del Norte, Carlsbad. $ 28- $ 40.
