Jack London Square Summer Music Series
Summer is the perfect time to walk around the water after dinner and watch the sunset. Since June, people at Jack London Square have been collecting live music for three months every Friday night. No pre-registration required, no need to sign tickets. Stop by the restaurant queue near the Thai Food Farmhouse and enjoy a weekly tour of music guests. This Friday, Jazzcent Trio, led by singer Judy Padilla, will set the tone for your long weekend.

Town Nights
Earlier this year, the Oakland City Department of Violence Prevention launched a new initiative to encourage community gatherings in all Oakland neighborhoods through parks, schools, and recreation centers. All events take place at the same time on Friday night. City nights have two more weeks for families to view special events near where they live. Events include child-friendly activities, live music, resources, raffle prizes, and even COVID-19 testing and vaccination.

Music in the Park mini-concert series at Redwood Heights Park
Redwood Heights Park, located right onto Highway 13, adds a list of places where you can pick up live music every Friday in July. Check out the Oakland-based group Radio Afro-Funk, which airs this Friday. On the same subject : A place to play: the new competition, live music begins this weekend in Aura Lounge. Mosswood Meltdown
After two years of catastrophic catastrophe, the famous two-day Mosswood Meltdown Festival (formerly known as Burger Boogaloo) is finally touching Oakland again. As every year, the festival is hosted by artist and filmmaker John Waters. The party team prioritizes the well-being of the participants; its network has a whole safe part of space politics. In addition, participants are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccine or negative testing within 48 hours prior to the start date of the incident. If you are ready to venture into a large land of music festivals, this is one you should not miss.

Summer Sounds Concert Series
If you happen to be in downtown Oakland on Wednesdays, stop at City Center Plaza on 13th Street and Broadway, just steps from BART 12th Street Station. Every Wednesday through August 31, a live group will take to the stage to entertain the staff. Want a relaxing lunch break? The place is this.
