A new classified US government report on UFO sightings by the US military has revealed hundreds of new stories.

The US Office of National Intelligence is now aware of 510 alleged sightings, an increase over the 144 collected in the spy agency’s first survey in 2021.

About half of the new discoveries were deemed “unremarkable” and caused by human sources, according to the report.

However, more than 100 encounters remain unexplained.

The report says that encounters with UFOs – which the government calls Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) – continue to “occur in restricted or restricted airspace, presenting a potential concern” and national security.

Of the 366 new reports, 26 were determined to be drones, 163 were balloons and six space objects were attributed.

The report was issued in part to help “destigmatise” incidents with UFOs and improve air safety.

And it says that the increased reports of encounters are indeed the result of “a strong effort to ignore the topic of the UAP and instead to recognize the risks that it can bring as a flight risk protection and the activity of the enemy”, the statement says.

It goes on to say that 171 observations are still “indecent and indecent” – meaning, not enough information has been collected to make a definitive diagnosis.

“Some of the unusual UAPs appear to have demonstrated flight characteristics or performance capabilities, and require further investigation,” the report says.

There are no reports attached to any extraterrestrial activity.

The reports are being analyzed by the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), an office in the Pentagon created last year to investigate UAP activities.

The AARO focuses on receiving and investigating incidents and unknown incidents and working with intelligence agencies to further investigate those incidents, according to the new leaked document.

Last month, the Pentagon’s Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security told the media: “We have not seen anything that would lead us to believe that any of the things we have seen are alien.”

“I haven’t seen anything in the catch up to date that would indicate that there was an alien visitation, an extraterrestrial accident, or anything like that,” added Ronald Moultrie.

But the effort continues to determine if the remaining UFOs have an earthly origin.

“In not being able to fix something, we imagine it would be brutal,” he said. “And so, we have to value that.”
