You must use ArriveCAN to provide mandatory travel and public health information before and after entering Canada. ArriveCAN not only protects travelers, but is part of Canada’s ongoing efforts to modernize cross-border travel.
Travel and identification documents for entering Canada. Make sure you carry the correct documents for yourself and any children or minors traveling with you. You must be able to prove your legal right or authority to enter Canada at the border.

Foreign travelers, including unvaccinated US citizens, may not enter Canada for tourism, business travel and leisure/entertainment activities even if they test negative for COVID-19. However, if you are unable to receive the vaccine due to medical or special circumstances, they may be exempted, please see Canada’s COVID-19 Travel: Requirements and Exemptions lists.

Here are some transportation options to help you navigate Toronto.
Airport and Transit
Toronto Pearson International Airport (airport code: YYZ) is approximately 18 miles (30 minutes) from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. This may interest you : Individualized lifestyle counseling is critical for heart health, especially for black Americans.
Many airlines provide service to Toronto Pearson International Airport such as Air Canada, WestJet, Air Transat and Sunwing Airlines. Feel free to book your trip with the airlines that best suit your needs.
Ground transportation Taxis: For your safety, be sure to choose a licensed taxi. They charge flat rates with no markup for Toronto destinations, accept all major credit cards and meet security requirements. Pick-up locations for licensed taxis are at Terminal 1 – Arrivals Level, Gate D and Terminal 3, Arrivals Level, Gates D, E and F. Approximate taxi fare is $61-$67 one way plus tip.
Public Transportation Buses Public transportation buses at Person Airport run to downtown Toronto and the suburbs. Use the trip planner to map out your route. Transportation options are TTC (Toronto) and Go Transit
The Union Pearson Express runs from Pearson Airport to Union Station in downtown Toronto in just 25 minutes. An adult fare from Pearson to Union is $12.35. The train runs every 30 minutes, seven days a week. UP Express locations at Pearson Airport are located in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.
Ride Share and Car Rental
Uber and Lyft offer shuttle services from the airport. Passengers can meet their shared transport service at Terminal 1, Ground Floor, Gate Q or Gate P.
