The BTSSS is an online, self-report system that eliminates the delays created by paper forms and kiosks. An updated account is required to file a claim online and activate the kiosk with previously submitted claim forms. Filing travel applications electronically with BTSSS and using direct deposit will result in immediate payment.
I have never used BTSSS. How do I do it? Visit access.va.gov and select the Veteran Travel Claim Entry icon to begin. You can then choose to sign in using a DS-Logon Level 2 account, with a VA PIV card, and ID.me, or with your My HealtheVet credentials.
