The U.S. immigration market is booming despite headlines coming from the economy.
Skyrocketing costs, flight delays and growing concerns do not appear to be a hindrance to the immigration sector, according to the latest OAG research.
The study, based on data from OAG’s Flightview app-tracking, found that 27 percent more people travel this summer compared to 2021. In addition, 63 percent booked international flights, nearly 60 percent they plan to visit where they are. It has not been visited before
More than 50 percent of travelers plan their trips between two and six months in advance and 11 percent book more than six months.

Business travel is also back. 89 per cent of respondents said they had already traveled on business in 2022, and 90 per cent said their company was planning a trip over the next 12 months. “After the closure and restrictions, travelers want to take their long-awaited vacation, even if it means higher prices, congested airports and a lack of service,” said John Grant, chief analyst at OAG. “While inflation and declining worries may affect the recovery in the second half of the year, market demand and planned capacity for the next three months are the strongest since 2019.”
