Featured Game | Chicago Bears vs. Buffalo Bills

“The weather could be a factor in this game as it is predicted to be about 12 degrees during this game with 22 mph winds and gusts up to 38 mph. the bears, so I’ll like to take 8.5 points and what could be a lower-scoring affair. as the No. 1 seed in the AFC. With Fields emerging as a dynamic threat with his arm and legs, he should be able to keep Chicago inside coverage all afternoon or backdoor us late to sneak in. – CBS Sports’ Tyler Sullivan on why he’s picking the points with Chicago when they host Buffalo. Featured Game | Cleveland Browns vs New Orleans Saints

“The weather is going to be absolutely crap, but I want to take the Browns at home by a field goal. Deshaun Watson hasn’t exactly been ‘balling,’ but he’s getting better. I’m not sure how much passing will happen but this weekend in Cleveland , because the weather calls for freezing temperatures and wild winds. Not good for the team that plays half the year in a dome!

“The injury reports for both teams look as bad as the weather forecast. Nick Chubb is dealing with a foot injury, Jadeveon Clowney has a concussion, Myles Garrett is sick and then Chris Olave and I’ll take Cleveland at home to find a way to to win. — CBS Sports NFL writer Jordan Dajani on why he likes the Browns in Week 16. Seahawks at Chiefs

Time: Saturday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox), stream on fuboTV (free trial) Open: Chiefs -9.5 Current: Chiefs -10

Featured Game | Kansas City Chiefs vs. Seattle Seahawks

“The Chiefs are winning games, but they’ve looked the last few weeks. Seattle’s been struggling the last few games, too. This is a must-win for them, but this is a tough place to play. Their defense has big issues that here show up as Patrick Mahomes highlights them.- CBS Sports senior NFL analyst Pete Prisco predicts a Chiefs blowout that covers the double-digit spread.

Giants at Vikings

Time: Saturday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox), stream on fuboTV (free try) Open: Vikings -4.5 Current: Vikings -4

Featured Game | Minnesota Vikings vs New York Giants

“When I was little, I used to wonder how Santa could deliver presents to everyone around the world in one night, but now that I know how that happened, I’m using all my mental energy to try to figure out how the Vikings keep winning games.

“Every week, just when I think they’re going to lose, they smile in my face and end up winning. It’s hard to understand how improbable this season has been for Minnesota, so I’m just going to go through some of them. Their comebacks really fast:

“The Vikings are bad until they have to be good and then they play good. It’s that easy, except it’s not that easy, because if it were that easy, every team would be doing it. The Vikings have a total of 10 One-score wins on the season, which is tied for the most in NFL history. They also have nine comeback wins and seven fourth-quarter comeback wins, both of which are tied for the second most in NFL history.

“If the Vikings have one kryptonite, it’s the NFC East. In 14 games this year, Minnesota is 1-2 against the NFC East and 10-1 against everyone else. In all three of the Vikings’ losses this year, they” You gave up at least 130 yards, and that’s a number the Giants easily hit thanks to Saquon Barkley and the fact that New York has one of the NFL’s top rushing attacks.

“The Vikings and Giants have combined for 18 one-score wins this year, so the only thing I know for sure about this game is that the winner will obviously only come out by one score.” — CBS Sports’ John Breech predicts the Giants to sweep the Vikings this weekend. Bengals at Patriots

Time: Saturday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS), Stream on Paramount+ (click here)Open: Bengals -3Current: Bengals -3

Featured Game | New England Patriots vs Cincinnati Bengals

“The Cincinnati Bengals have been one of the better bets this season. They are an NFL-best 11-3 ATS entering Week 16 and now face a Patriots team that is coming off an embarrassing last-second loss against Las Vegas As we saw at that moment, New England is not a well-coached football team right now, which is a remarkable statement considering Bill Belichick is at the top of the mast. The Patriots struggle to execute at critical points of the game. For example, their red zone touchdown percentage is a league-worst 37.84%. That inefficiency in such a key area could leave them in the dust against a Cincinnati offense ranked fifth in the NFL. and DVOA is. . The Bengals are also one of the best teams in the NFL at slamming the door on their opponents, allowing just 3.7 points in the fourth quarter (second best in the NFL).” – CBS Sports Writer Tyler Sullivan on why he’s laying the points and rolling with the Bengals as one of his five picks of the week.

Lions at Panthers

Time: Saturday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox), stream on fuboTV (free trial) Open: Lions -2.5 Current: Lions -2.5

Featured Game | Carolina Panthers vs. Detroit Lions

“The Lions offense looked like it took a step back last week while battling the cold weather, but it still put up the most yards any team had against the Jets defense since Week 2, and the most passing yards the Jets defense has allowed. since Week 3. With cold weather wins against the Bears, Giants and Jets this season, I think we can put that narrative to rest. The Lions get this Week an easier defensive matchup, and the Panthers ranked just 25th expect the Detroit offensive line to control things up front.

“The Panthers presumably couldn’t run the ball against an elite Steelers rush unit, and with Sam Darnold unable to win plays with his arm, that meant the Steelers were able to secure a pretty solid win while only giving up 209 yards to Carolina give up. It could be more of the same this week after the Lions allowed just 50 rushing yards last week and 22 the week before against the Vikings, and their opportunistic defense has a chance to short Jared Goff and Co. Giving fields when it can benefit Darnold’s capital. Mistake.

“If the Lions are a top-10 team — and they’ve been playing like one since early November — they should be able to beat weaker opponents on the road by at least one field goal. Just do that on both of my contest cards this week.”

R. J. White has been SportsLine’s No. 1 NFL expert against the spread over the past five years, going 445-378-24 ATS to put him more than 25 units on those picks on SportsLine. He’s also delivered a 56.8% hit rate on his SuperContest picks over the past seven seasons, which is exactly what you’re getting here. Falcons at Ravens

Time: Saturday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox), stream on fuboTV (free try) Open: Ravens -6.5 Current: Ravens -6.5

Featured Game | Baltimore Ravens vs. Atlanta Falcons

“The passing game is struggling. The Falcons have defensive issues, though, that could help. Desmond Ridder was just OK last week in his first start, and now faces a tougher defense. Ravens win it.” – CBS Sports senior NFL analyst Pete Prisco takes on the Ravens at home over Atlanta.

Commanders at 49ers

Time: Saturday, 4:05 PM ET (CBS), stream on Paramount+ (click here) Open: 49ers -6.5 Current: 49ers -6.5

Featured Game | San Francisco 49ers vs. Washington Commanders

“Not only do the Chiefs have to travel across the country on a short week for a Saturday game, but they’re also playing a 49ers team that had three extra days of rest after playing Thursday in Week 15.

“That said, I’m not even sure the extra rest is the biggest drawback here, it’s the fact that the Commanders are taking the longest non-international flight that any NFC team has to deal with this year and they’re doing it TWO Days before Christmas. I mean, have you ever been in an airport around the holidays? It’s like a combination of “Squid Game,” “The Hunger Games” and “Snakes on a Plane.”

“Now, I know Washington’s travel is chartered, but let’s be honest, anyone who spends more than five minutes in an airport around Christmas is automatically at a psychological disadvantage and everything they do for at least a month while they mentally recover of what they do. just experienced.

“The Commanders reward for all this is that they face the hottest team in football, who also have the best defense in the NFL. The 49ers defense has given up the fewest yards per game AND the fewest points per game this season. The only true weakness of the defense, which isn’t even really a weakness, is stopping the pass, but it will be hard for the Chiefs to exploit that considering they have a QB who may not have a job until Christmas comes around.

“Taylor Heinicke will definitely start this week for Washington, but Ron Rivera won’t commit to that. It’s going to take a Christmas miracle for the Chiefs to win this one and I’ve watched enough Christmas movies to know that those miracles only happen on the 34th Street. I just looked and Levi’s Stadium is definitely not on 34th Street. – CBS Sports NFL writer and Pick Six podcast co-host John Breech on why he predicts the 49ers to beat the Chiefs, 24-17 .

Eagles at Cowboys

Time: Saturday, 4:25pm ET (Fox), Stream on fuboTV (free trial) Open: Cowboys -1 Current: Cowboys -4.5

Featured Game | Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles

If you’ve made it this far in your survival pools, you’ve destroyed it. However, you are not at the finish line yet, so let the SportsLine Projection Model help you open up on top. The model simulates every NFL game 10,000 times and has increased more than $7,000 for $100 games on top-rated NFL picks since its inception.

We can tell you  the model is shying away from the Eagles against Dallas, despite Philly having the best record in the league. Philadelphia isn’t quite as opportunistic on the road as it has half as many takeaways (eight) in away games as home games (16). Also, Dak Prescott is 7-3 all-time versus the Eagles with eight touchdowns versus zero picks over two matchups last season.

Instead, the model backs a shocking team that is in good position to deliver a Week 16 victory. To see what that pick is, head on over to SportsLine.

Raiders at Steelers

Time: Saturday, 8:15pm ET (NFLN), stream on fuboTV (try for free) Open: Steelers -1 Current: Steelers -2.5

Featured Game | Pittsburgh Steelers vs Las Vegas Raiders

The SportsLine projection model is on an absolute tear and enters Week 16 of the 2022 NFL season on an incredible 157-113 run on top-rated NFL picks dating back to the 2017 season. The model knows that Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett is expected to start against the Raiders this week after missing time with a concussion. In 10 games this season, Pickett has completed 191 of 294 passes (65%) for 1,797 yards and four touchdowns. He also threw eight interceptions and has a passer rating of 74.9. The rookie continued to improve and threw two touchdowns and zero interceptions on October 30. In a 37-30 loss at Cincinnati on November 20, he completed 25 of 42 passes for 265 yards (59.5%) and a touchdown. He also ran for three scores.

The model also knows that Las Vegas is led by quarterback Derek Carr, who completed 289 of 472 passes (61.2%) for 3,348 yards and 23 touchdowns with 11 interceptions and an 89.2 rating. He is coming off a 231-yard and three-touchdown performance against the Patriots. He has thrown for two or more touchdowns in six of the last seven games.

As the model turns its attention to Raiders-Steelers, we can tell you it’s about the total. It also says one side of the spread of cash and over 50% of simulations! To see which side that is, check out SportsLine.

Packers at Dolphins

Time: Sunday, 13.00. ET (Fox), stream on fuboTV (free try) Open: Dolphins -4 Current: Dolphins -3.5

Featured Game | Miami Dolphins vs. Green Bay Packers

“The Packers created some momentum for themselves with the prime-time win over the Los Angeles Rams. Now they get a tough road test in Mike McDaniel’s Dolphins on Christmas Day.

“Miami has lost three straight, and Tua Tagovailoa hasn’t completed more than 57 percent of his passes during that losing streak. However, I was actually impressed with what I saw from the Dolphins against the Buffalo Bills last week. I thought the Dolphins would get blown out, but they covered the number on the road in cold, snowy conditions. Mostert with 136 rushing yards absolutely wild.

“The Dolphins return to Miami for the first time in a month, where they are 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS. I’ll take the Dolphins.” — CBS Sports gambling guru Jordan Dajani lays out the points and rolls with Miami as one of his bets for Week 16. To see the rest of his picks, click here.

Broncos at Rams

Time: Sunday, 4:30pm ET (CBS/Nickelodeon), Stream on Paramount+ (click here) Open: EvenCurrent: Broncos -2.5

Featured Game | Los Angeles Rams vs Denver Broncos

“This is a game that many expected to be an important one, but instead it has two of the biggest disappointments of the year. Both teams have offensive issues. The Broncos have the better defense and Russell Wilson will be back. The Rams play even on a short week. But something says the Rams will find a way to win it.” – CBS Sports senior NFL analyst Pete Prisco on why he’s picking the Rams to win by a touchdown over the Broncos.

Buccaneers at Cardinals

Time: Sunday, 8:20 PM ET (NBC), stream on fuboTV (try free) Open: Buccaneers -3 Current: Buccaneers -7.5

Featured Game | Arizona Cardinals vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

“So, the Buccaneers aren’t very good. They blew a 17-point lead on the Bengals last week while Tom Brady turned the ball over on four straight drives. At the same time, the Cardinals aren’t very good.Without Kyler Murray, the Cardinals lost to Brett Rypien and the lowly Denver Broncos, 24-15.

“This game is in Arizona, which is bad for the Cardinals. They are 1-12 SU and 3-10 ATS in their last 13 home games, and Trace McSorley is in line to make his first career start with Colt McCoy in the concussion protocol . The Buccaneers still have a one-game lead in the NFC South, and I’m just banking on Brady rebounding against a bad team late in the season.” – CBS Sports’ Jordan Dajani on why he’s putting up 7.5 points with Tampa Bay against Arizona.

Chargers at Colts

Time: Monday, 8:15pm ET (ESPN), stream on fuboTV (free trial) Open: Chargers -2.5 Current: Chargers -4.5

Featured Game | Indianapolis Colts vs Los Angeles Chargers

SportsLine expert R.J. White routinely smashed against spread picks and went 445-378-24 on his ATS picks from 2017-21, returning $2,542 on $100 games. He’s also an incredible 22-9-2 in his last 33 against spread picks involving the Chargers, returning $1,193 for $100 bets. Of course, you’ll want to know how he fares in this primetime matchup with Los Angeles. We can tell you that he lies below the total, but he knows that a crucial X-factor makes one side of the spread a must-back! To see what that is, go check out SportsLine.
