PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – The Parkersburg High School Sports in American Culture class has another great sports speaker.

The class received a visit from four-time winning quarterback, Joe Montana.

Students in the class had the opportunity to ask the hall of famer about his playing career, some of his favorite moments and even playing with Daniel Ruettiger – also known as “Rudy” – from Montana’s time at Notre Dame.

Many students – including football players and other athletes – said they did a lot of research before asking these questions.

“Yeah, some things from the quarterback’s perspective about how the game changed and what he thought. Because he won four Super Bowls in the ’80s, that’s a big deal. But the movie Rudy, I’ve seen it about ten times. Now, you know what movies are about. They change things and add things. So, I just wanted to know if what he thinks about living in. So, it’s great that he talked about that,” said Parkersburg HS quarterback, David Parson.

The students would like to thank their teacher, Sam Vincent for continuing to share these gifts with them.
