Penn men’s soccer is currently riding a seven-game winning streak, and center back Ben Stitz has scored a combined nine goals in both.

Since opening the scoring for Penn at Colgate in September, which marked the beginning of Penn’s winning streak, Stitz has scored in every game, including the team’s first two conference meetings against Yale and Dartmouth.

With a strong eye for goals in the box and accurate touches even when defending under high pressure, Stitz is becoming a critical quick-changer from chances taken by his teammates.

“Just being able to contribute to the scoreboard is something you obviously want to do [when] you’re playing more of an attacking midfielder,” Stitz told The Daily Pennsylvanian in 2019. “Hopefully I’ll get a few more goals and assists later in the season.”
