South Dakota seniors Dalton Godfrey and Alex Jensen and junior Brock Mogensen were named to the 2022 FCS preseason All-American roster, the site announced Thursday. Godfrey and Jensen were named to the second team, while Mogensen earned third team honors.
Godfrey is on HERO Sports’ preseason roster for the second consecutive season. It’s also Cedar Falls, Iowa‘s third preseason honor this year after being named to the STATS Perform and Missouri Valley Football Conference preseason teams. He is in his sixth season in red and white and returns as a key player on a punting unit that ranked 10th last season.
