PITTSBURGH – University of Pittsburgh head coach Jeff Capel was among 10 award recipients announced by the Josh Gibson Foundation at a luncheon at the PNC Park Homeplate Club on Friday, August 5.
The luncheon hosted by WTAE-TV Anchor & Athletic Director Andrew Stockey was part of a three-day series of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of Josh Gibson’s induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.
