Over the past year, ESPN’s women’s college basketball, volleyball, lacrosse and softball coverage has received major rating increases from year to year, or in addition, reached record levels.

Fans want more women-centered content and ESPN is committed to providing it.

Enter: ESPN’s most advanced WNBA Basketball Strength Index (BPI) to date. Provided by the ESPN Sports Analytics team, WNBA BPI provides the starting point for live-win odds on the GameCast pages on ESPN.com. The updated WNBA BPI allows fans to view specific pre-season ratings due to access to previous data. In addition, fans now have access to current season predictions and updates, with plans to incorporate future matchup prediction modules to support pre-game winning odds.
