There was a lot of excitement among the Jacksonville Jaguars fans when they drafted Trevor Lawrence altogether, but due to the inefficient environment around him, much excitement for the team quickly came to an end. Luckily, the Jags’ owners realized they had made a terrible decision and made a change of coach to replace Urban Meyer with Doug Pederson.
In Pederson, the Jags get a coach with NFL experience as a player (absolutely to be fair), assistant coach, and senior coach. They also have a smart coach who should talk to Lawrence and know how to help young people absolutely learn the game.
In addition to getting Lawrence the best coach and staff, general manager Trent Baalke has also been instrumental in the acquisition of players, signing signings such as Christian Kirk and Brandon Scherff on the offensive side. And with Travis Etienne now ready to enter the field after recovering from a foot injury from last preseason, Lawrence will also have what he is accustomed to from his days at Clemson to help him.
These are just a few of the reasons why many listed Lawrence as the 2022 bounce-back candidate after a rookie season where he finished under 60% of his passes for 3,641 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 17 votes. we could include CBS Sports in the group on Lawrence’s comeback as they listed it in the top 10 bounce candidates.

Old No. 1 overall is still tied for great pain, but everything around it is much better in 2022. The line has been improved with Brandon Scherff now in the interior, the technical teams are at least deeper, and more all good, himself. the coach is now a partner. It will be difficult for Lawrence not to take the next step under Doug Pederson after a year of poor rookie.
Pederson may be the best signing on the team at the moment even though he is not a player. The reason for this is because his history with quarterbacks includes top coaches like Alex Smith, Michael Vick, and Carson Wentz, who performed at the MVP level in 2017.
Lawrence is considered the best prospect to be included in the draft since Andrew Luck, who no doubt drew Pederson to Jacksonville. The two have already stated that they have a good relationship and will try to strengthen him in the training camp, and if they do, Lawrence will be set to have a better atmosphere than he did as a rookie.
