The Twin Cities had a pay-per-view ceremony last night when the Minnesota and St. Twins. Paul Saints handed the victory in a three-minute walk.

It started at CHS Field as the Omaha Storm Chasers struggled to hold a 3-0 lead over the Saints. St. Paul hadn’t seen the innings in the last 20, but they started the lineup after Jake Cave hit a two-run homer and RBI twice from Michael Helman .

When the match was tied at 3-3, Bishop played the hero at 9:50 p.m., giving away one RBI song and setting up a party fit for the fourth of July, but it would not be the only fireworks of the evening.

Just over 11 miles [11 km] away, the Twins were still independent. A throwing error by Jorge Polanco had given the Baltimore Orioles ahead of the eighth inning and Minnesota had to meet the Orioles next to Jorge Lopez, who entered the match with a 0.73 ERA.

Less than 2-1 on the ninth, Luis Arraez started the meeting on the first leg and in the next game, Buxton gave the tour a 9:53 p.m. – three minutes after the Bishop left St. Paul.

The Buxton blast closed the baseball night in the Twin Cities and fired shots on both sides of the Mississippi River.
