Post Malone was “nervous” meeting his idol and collaborator Ozzy Osbourne for the first time.

The pair teamed up on ‘Take What You Want’ from the former’s 2019 album ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’, and the ‘Circles’ hitmaker recalled how he was dreading what to say to the Black Sabbath legend on their first meeting. It was held in Los Angeles in November of that year.

In a clip from the documentary ‘Post Malone: Runaway,’ the Grammy winner says, “I was nervous meeting him, not so much performing [with him]. Meeting him is scary because, you know, what the hell do you call Ozzy Osbourne- ri, you know? ‘I like your pants’!? You don’t know what the hell she said to him.

The duo reunited for “It’s A Raid” for Ozzy’s 2020 album “Ordinary Man,” which was produced by Malone’s producer Andrew Watt.

Ozzy, 73, had not heard from Malone, but after a battle with pneumonia that left him in intensive care, he credited him with removing him from his “ass” when he was tied to the chair.

He previously said: “I’d never even heard of this kid. He wanted me to sing on his song ‘Take What You Want’ so I did and then one thing led to another. I started recording a new album with Post Malone’s producer Andrew Watt .It’s only nine tracks but it was a catalyst to get me to where I am today.

“If it wasn’t for making this record, I’d still be running, thinking: ‘I’m going to lie here forever.’ I really miss the music. My fans are very loyal and very good. Until I made the album, I thought I was dying. But that took my ass off.”

Ozzy worked with Watt again on his next album, ‘Patient Number 9’.

His musical comeback follows another health setback after the ‘Paranoid’ hitmaker – who has Parkinson’s – underwent life-changing surgery.

Fortunately, the main operation was successful.

The ‘War Pigs’ rocker dislodged metal rods previously placed in his spine when he collapsed at home in 2003 following a quad-bike accident.
