Costco has reportedly raised the prices of two of its food products.
According to Business Insider, the price increases for the chicken tenders and 20-ounce soda were confirmed by the Rochester, New York location, as well as food restaurants in other locations.
Baked chicken is now on sale for $1 more than it was in June at $3.99.
The price of a soda rose 10 cents to $0.69.
Chicken prices are up this year, according to research compiled by Wells Fargo ahead of the Fourth of July holiday — using data from Urner Barry, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Nielsen and the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Retail prices of wings and chicken breasts are higher by 38% and 24.3%, respectively.
The bank said soda prices were also up 13% on last year, as were rival popular drinks.
Last week, Costco Wholesale Corporation reported net sales of $22.78 billion in the retail month of June.
This represents an increase of 20.4% from $18.92 billion last year.
For the 44 weeks ended July 3, 2022, the company reported net sales of $188.34 billion, up 16.9% from $161.09 billion in the same period in 2021.
The retail giant did not immediately return FOX Business’ request for comment.
