The food distribution was supposed to start at 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. this morning, but did not end at 3:00 p.m. after their meals.
Tabernacle Zion Church, Sunlight Baptist and Second Harvest have worked together to provide food to those struggling with high prices for food, fuel and shelter.

“I was a nurse for 25 years and I had back pain and then my husband died and now I am taking care of my father. It’s not enough to be insecure all month, ”said Tammy Bellard of Allen Parish.
