Deborah Crown has been named the 10th dean of the Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business upon closing
term of office of Deryck J. van Rensburg this summer. Crown, who served as dean
Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and Professor of Management
from 2016, will begin formal appointment later in the fall of 2022. David Smith, Associate
vice chancellor for online programs and professor of economics at Graziadio Business School,
will perform the duty of temporary dean.
